Hi, I’m JoAnn Daringer.

I am retired from a career of illustrating and developing technical materials. I first worked as a graphic artist, illustrating and developing training materials for a power company. After some years as a graphic artist, I went on to developing illustrated parts catalogs and technical manuals for various aircraft manufacturers. I stayed very busy with a career and raising kids as a single mom. Then, after 25 years of working, I retired, and my kids grew up. I had to rethink my direction, which gave me a chance to rediscover art. I have found that I love hiking the trails in the Superstition Mountains, filling my mobile phone camera with the beauty of the desert, always looking for the perfect sunset, sunrise, or the most breathtaking panorama that I could ever see. My challenge, now, is to do my best to capture every scenic trail on canvas. So, now I’m painting. I’m always looking forward, and never looking back.
